One Night Only is not just an entertaining show but also an annual fundraising event this year benefiting Barbara Sinatra Children's Center.

The project begins about nine months out of the event date in April. Starting off with a theme. The branding by way of an illustration and artwork usually by talented illustrator, David Bird. The design is then branded throughout the sponsor package items; bio, cast sheet, letterhead, mailing labels, reprint of the Desert Sun article from the previous year, event flyers, folder labels, and sponsor form. The packet is then delivered to potential event sponsors.

Advertising design begins along with emarketing and social media artwork. A few print ads will be designed and placed in local publications such as the Desert Sun and Palm Springs Life. By November, the invitation (invite, reply card and envelope) design and layout is underway soon with final design being sent to the printer and then to the mailing house for postal delivery.

VIP tickets are designed, printed, sorted, labeled and sent to recipients before the event.

As sponsors have sent in their donations, the program book begins to grow. 120 pages includes information about the event and the organization, cast and ads from the donors, in kind sponsors and few paid ads. Finally, a program insert with a list of songs and performers is created to match the program book, printed and inserted into the book the day of the show.
